Finally I tested the spacial resolution of a 200 µm pitch AC-LGAD. Below I left the two reports I made, one focusing in the difference between shining the laser outside the pad vs “inside” the pad, and the other one focusing on the whole surface of the detector. You can see each document in a new tab clicking this link or this link.
Conclusions
- Spacial resolution of 200 µm pitch AC-LGAD “in the best region” (in between the four pads) was approx 6 µm.
- When the laser was shined “inside a pad” the spacial resolution was degraded, but not as much as if there were no charge sharing at all. So there is still charge sharing.
